Our main goal at NKO Yoga School is for you to gain knowledge of yoga, help others grow and learn from their practice and finally to grow in your own practice. So, I invite you to take a moment to consider why you practice and study yoga. Your reasons probably fall into these categories:

• Healing

• Wisdom

• Self-mastery
• Spiritual evolution and spiritual freedom

As your study and dedication to teaching deepens and you face challenges or distractions, avoid losing sight of the ultimate reasons why you practice and teach yoga.

It can be helpful to return again and again to the WHY.

Just as you practice and study yoga for profound reasons, so you practice and study yoga teaching to effectively support students in having equally profound results.

Yoga teachers develop their skills and evolve over time through:

1. Personal Practice

2. Practice Teaching and “Real” Teaching

3. Mentoring / Coaching

4. Transmission

5. Knowledge
